All,
Just to let you know that this Sunday 16th October will be my last SoulSegA show for a few weeks. I'm off to Seychelles to attend the "Festival Kreol". This is an event that takes place every year in the last week of October and it is a celebration of the best of kreol Art, Culture and Music. The festival normally ends with two music shows, one called Lakadans which takes place on the last day and include musical performances from visiting artists from Indian Ocean (this year Negro Pour La Vi are the special guests from Mauritius) and following Lakadans another show called Bal Bobes features mainly sega and traditional music of Seychelles. The latter finishing at 6am in the morning. To celebrate the occasion SegaVIbes is releasing an album called Hits of Seychelles end of October featuring some of the best artists from Seychelles including Jean-Marc Volcy, Brian Matombe, Janaa, Ralf, Dr Madmun who covers an svibesversion of 'Boom Explosyon' (original track done by Negro Pour La V).
