Wanted to share these lyrics with you with the hope of getting some feedback..I also want to hear from local singers/rappers if they would like to have a go at it..just for fun! Or if you know people who could be interested...let them know!

Its called 'My Motherland', and ideally it would be for a ragga/rap beat...

Glory to you motherland of mine, but national unity,
Get back to reality!!
Overhere injustice is their main policy,
Sweet is thy beauty, Sick is the inequality!!
Slavery? That was supposed to be history,
Well its not and its all very dirty!!
Man can't they let us live with dignity,
I wanna see that peace, justice and liberty!!
I wanna see that Mauritian fraternity,
Instead all I see is poverty.

What I wanna see is more love more peace

They look like they are all brainiacs,
But deep inside me say they really are maniacs,
Who else would dare relax,
While robbing us of our tax?
